As the Chilean online wagering service providers were looking forward to the legislation that will facilitate the launch of online betting operations in the country, the Supreme Court of Chile accepted the appeal from the state-owned lottery operator Polla Chilena de Beneficencia and ruled that the online betting platforms operating in Chile be blocked.

As reported by the source, the resolution of the country’s highest judicial authority stated that these websites “carry out gambling activities within the borders of Chile, without legal authorization or from any national tax authority, which is why they are illegal according to national regulations.”

Reversed Decision:

The ruling came after the Supreme Court reversed the decision of the Court of Appeals which had initially rejected the lottery giant’s appeal. The supreme judicial authority therefore reportedly ordered that the sports betting websites offered via broadband provider Mundo Pacífico be blocked as they are lacking legal authorizations and are therefore illegal, according to the ruling. State owned company Polla Chilena de Beneficencia offers lottery and sports betting produ…

On the heels of an expansive slot deal and market-leading online and mobile casino software provider iSoftBet has enhanced its impressive collection of table games via the brand new release, Red Dog, offering “easy-to-understand rules, big wins and smooth gameplay.”

The classic card game moves along at a brisk pace, with players placing their first bet and then drawing two cards which are arranged on the table so that a thrid card can be set between them. In order for the player to win the hand, the third drawn card’s value must be between that of the first two cards (ex. 6-J-K). The closer in value the third card is to the first two (ex. 6-8-10/J-Q-K), the higher the payout.

If, however, the first two cards that are drawn are a pair or consecutive, the bet will be a Push because a space between the two doesn’t exist, therefore, there is no possibility of a winning third card. If a pair is drawn, a third card is dealt, and if it matches, a three-of-a-kind bonus payout of 11 times the player’s stake is awarded!

Immersive gameplay:

According to Mark Claxton, Head of Games for iSoftBet, the “simple, fast-paced&#822…

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Jonsau Shrine requires you to use force to solve some clever puzzles. While it’s not as challenging as some of the game’s shrines, it can feel a bit confusing if you’re not sure what to expect. If you’ve found yourself there and want to know how to push through the puzzles, we’ve got you covered below.

How to solve the Jonsau Shrine Puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

When you first enter Jonsau Shrine, pick the ball up with your Ultrahand ability and place it under the water directly beneath the target above. When you let it go, it will fire up and hit the target to open the next area.

As you move around the next platform, check the water for a chest containing a Strong Construct Bow, then defeat the construct enemy here.

In the next puzzle room, stand the panel straight up and submerge it as you did with the ball previously. When you let it go, it will hit the target and open the next door.

In this final room, once again place the ball under the water and aim to dislodge the wooden panel above, as it is blocking the elevator next to it.

Once you’ve dislodged it, the elev…

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox just broke a big record. January 2024 was Xbox’s “biggest month ever” on console based on total playtime, the company announced in a blog post.

Microsoft’s blog post specifically mentions Palworld, which has reached more than 10 million people on Xbox so far due in part to its inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.

Microsoft did not say which month was previously the biggest ever for Xbox on console in terms of total playtime. But Palworld was a bonafide phenomenon–and it’s only available on console via Xbox–so it’s not a big surprise to learn it helped boost total Xbox playtime.

Palworld was the biggest third-party launch on Xbox Game Pass ever, surpassing High on Life.

Palworld on Xbox (and PC, for that matter) is available in an unfinished state as developer Pocketpair continues to work on getting it ready for its 1.0 release.

For more, check out GameSpot’s guides hub for Palworld. Pocketpair is also warning people about Palworld mobile game scams, since there is no mobile version of the title.

In southern Europe and a fresh investigation has found that a lack of effective governance concerning non-competitive games of football is leaving such ‘friendly’ contests vulnerable to instances of match-fixing.

According to the Combating Match Fixing in Club Football Non-Competitive Matches probe published by European Gaming Media and Events, over 250 non-competitive soccer games involving European clubs turned up suspicious betting activities between 2016 and 2020. This survey conducted by the University of Nicosia Research Foundation with financial support from the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program surveyed 700 football players in Malta, Greece and Cyprus and also determined that 26.5% of these respondents had participated in a ‘friendly’ game in which the result could have been the subject of illicit manipulation.

Startling source:

The three-year study moreover found that a staggering 26.3% of potential approaches to fix a ‘friendly’ game of football had come from club officials with a further 15% having originated from other players. This was followed by the surprising revelation that those holding top executiv…
